It’s official, as per the Inside BlackBerry Developer Blog, there will be no Theme Studio for BlackBerry 10 and there will be no theme support in the BlackBerry 10 OS. Â After looking at the final product, RIM has stated that Theme Studio 7 didn’t address theme developer needs or asks. Â In addition, feedback from the Theme Studio beta testers showed that the quality of the tooling would not be acceptable.
Inside BlackBerry Developer Blog explains that they have been working “diligently over the last year and a half with our design team to create a new user interface – focused around the idea of “flow”   RIM is encouraging that theme developers start to use Cascades to create UI animations in apps.
