Here is a FREE theme by a Premium theme maker- Meridian by The World of Pootermobile. Meridian is OS6 compatible theme designed for simplicity with a little operational twist. The home screen is clean and clear, except for an OCD (weather slot). Under the notification bar at the top of the home screen, are two tabs; one for Apps and one for Today info.
The theme’s transitions are smooth. When you click on Apps, a list of the first 6 apps set on your application screen drops down. To close it click on the Home tab. The same goes for the Today tab. It drops down a list of appointments, 4-6 depending on if your device is keyboard or touchscreen. The color scheme is gray with green highlights which is very readable for anyone’s eyes.
The theme also has an OCD slot in the lower left-hand corner of the home screen. Meridian looks great with other wallpapers because you are able to see most of the screen. I would use it for those days when I want to see more of my wallpaper and still have the functionality of the Apps tab and Today info.
If you travel to The World of Pootermobile you will be able to review all of the offerings. There are plenty of premium themes available there as well as a very nice selection of FREE ones as well. If you run OS6 it is harder to find sweet themes right now but Meridian is an extremely nice one; simple and clean. For those of you running OS5, you will be ecstatic over the selections available at The World of Pootermobile.
