Welcome to joyFit, the first Social-Fitness BlackBerry Application. With summer almost here, the time to start preparing is now. BlackBerry Empire is privileged to quickly review for you a new unreleased app, joyFit which is the first Social Fitness entertainment type of application for your BlackBerry smartphone. Within the joyFit application you’ll become a part of the grand fitness virtual world. The fitness virtual world is a social online game in which you gather points and climb ranks based upon how much you run. The more you run, the more you accumulate points.

So what do you do once you have collected a nice amount of points? Well, included into joyFit is a fitness shop where you can purchase equipment that will help you climb up in ranks faster. Users of joyFit will be able to earn money in many different ways. You can either finish a workout or share it so your social fitness friends can rate your workout. While engaged in the joyFit app you will be prompted with several other methods that will earn you both points and cash. These are just two of many ways to rack up points and money. One neat feature introduced in joyFit is the instant live tracking of your social fitness friends. The tracking will be done through your BlackBerry device instead of the web so cheating is eliminated! Many other features can be found, these only a few of many. Let’s go through some screenshots of the app so you will know what to expect when you become a part of the Virtual fitness world.
This snapshot features of what the app will look like once you get going. Your traveled distance will be in Meters (m) with your speed on the right in (m/s). I hope in future releases there will be an option to display in Miles, as not every country uses the same units of measure. On the bottom left of the screen will be displayed your burned calories so you will get a rough estimate of how much your run has burned.

Here you can find how much you have earned in terms of points and cash. Also, you can keep track of your inventory on fitness items you have purchased through the joyFit virtual fitness shop.
Here you find and add social fitness friends. To find a friend, they must give you their username. Once handed, searching is very easy.
To get going we must enter some info so the app can keep track of proper users. Allow route sharing and live tracking so your social fitness friends can know that you are not wasting any time, and are in fact putting in that work for a summer beach bod.
Here is the Social Fitness Shop. Browse through their selection and purchase items which will boost your ranks, putting you ahead of the virtual fitness game.
