Get your brain in high gear and use Cerebral, a new premium theme from Vision Mobility

Jake at Vision Mobility is certainly putting his brain in high gear.  On the heals of his last theme Inspire Hope (which is an awesome theme by the way) he has just released Cerebral.  This theme has a clean simplistic look, yet provides function and style.  A hidden today which includes messages, calendar, and text messages, hidden ocd, and 6 icon hidden dock gives you everything you need from a theme.   I really like the themes he develops because they are clean and stylish and all have that little extra to make it unique.  Read more and find out about Cerebral.

Default Home Screen

All the important information is at the top of the screen.   A nice size clock, date, notifications, meters, everything is right where you can see it without having to look for it.   And everything is placed just right.  Custom battery meter on the top left and signal meter on the top right.  Not too big, yet you can see it quite well.   There is an ocd slot on the bottom center.  This is app 7 from the application screen.  The placement of the ocd slot is a nice change from the usual top or bottom corners.  Great idea.   And the clean home screen is very wall paper friendly.  Which let’s face it, is what people want these days.

Dock Showing

The 6 custom icon dock can be revealed with alt *, and hidden with alt #.  Nice and large, you can see them clearly.  And they are great looking icons, too!

Hidden Today

The hidden today provides for quite a bit of information.  3 items for messages, 3 items for calender and 2 items for text.   Also very clear and crisp and easy to see.  The HT can be shown with alt + and hidden with alt -.  Note that the dock must be activated to access hidden today.

Using Tint overlay

One more detail to mention is the tint overlay for the home screen.  Perfect if you have a light wallpaper and need to be able to see the home screen information more clearly.  For tint use ? and !.   There are a few hot spots to tell you about as well.  The clock (clock), signal meter (manage connections), and profiles icon (profiles).   Actually there is another feature that I particularly like.  You can hide the profiles icon.  I don’t need to see it on my home screen, so it’s nice to be able to hide it.  Alt @ and $ to hide and show.

Application Screen

The application screen is a basic black background which allows for clear view of the custom icons.  Menu’s are semi-transparent with blue highlight bar throughout the theme.  Simple, clean and functional.

Home Screen

Cerebral does not require you to remember a lot of fancy key strokes to make it function.  Your brain can rest easy with this one putting it into high gear for more important tasks.  Just remember a a few hot keys and you’re good to go.  Runs very smooth and the navigation is fast.  Cerebral is a clean, functional theme that gives you what you need.   Another winner from Vision Mobility.  You can get it here at BlackBerry Theme Park for $5.99 and is available for most devices.   Cerebral.  Easy on function, high on brain power. You’ll be a genius for getting this one.
