Facebook Announces New Skype Powered Video Chat [Think PlayBook!]

Facebook has just announced its newest addition, a Skype powered video chat service.
The all new Facebook Video Chat has been built right into chat, giving you one place to manage video connectivity. As of now, there is no Skype app for the BlackBerry PlayBook but given the uncompromised web browser on the PlayBook, users might be one step away from Skyping on the PlayBook. Ippy has written a detailed piece on FaceBook on the PlayBook, The App Vs. The Browser so it will be interesting to see if RIM keeps up and implements the new video chat service to the native Facebook App.


Also added to Facebook chat is the ability to see the friends you message most and group chat, something that has been heavily requested.
