DDDroid is a theme you’re gonna want on your BlackBerry if you love the Droid style icons and design. When the theme installs, by default, the Droid wallpaper and Droid eye are OFF, but as soon as you use the z and Alt Q shortcuts, your screen looks like this.

The Droid eye is animated and looks really neat on your home screen! The permanent icons on the screen are for Phone and Contacts. The little arrow in the center turns the hidden dock ON and OFF. The dock contains 5 icons in the Droid style.
Once the dock is up, scroll left and the OCD slotted icon appears; for most people it’s the best place to put BerryWeather or Weatherbug. Scroll right and you will see the Hidden Today screen with SMS, Messages, Calendar, Phone Call Log and a Media launcher.
So at this point, you virtually have four different home screens. And all the while, the Droid eye is animated and rotating. Cool. Really cool. The menus are black with dark red highlights and I found the contrast to be refreshing clean and readable. What also is important is that the user may set his/her own font for the menus and that allows for larger (in my case) or smaller, (if you prefer) fonts.
And just in case you thought that DDDroid was all Droid and no play, let’s see if I was able to “pretty” it up. Oh yes, girly again! And all the info you need is still there at the top of the screen: signal meters, notification bar, battery indicator, etc.
So there you have it: DDDroid is all Droid, with the Droid wallpaper, animated Droid eye and Droid style icons. Or the user can turn off any part of the theme. The theme is versatile and with the permanent icons on the bottom of the home screen, it is functional as well.
