One of the first steps in PlayBook setup is the Wifi connection. The newer devices become, the easier it is to access and connect to Wifi. To the left are the automatic scans of connectible Wifi networks and if you want to manually add it, the option is also available to you. To the right is your password box, your WEP key goes entered there for Wifi access.
And just like that we’re connected to Wifi, ready to take on an uncompromisable web experience. What’s cool about the PlayBook is when you connect to a Wi-Fi network, your tablet saves the network and connects to it automatically the next time you’re within range.

- On the Status bar, tap > Wi-Fi.
- Tap the network you want to connect to. To only see networks that don’t require a password, in theNetworks drop-down list, select Open Networks.
- If necessary, type the network password.
- Tap Connect.
