For those unaware, RIM’s Partners Fund is running a 2011 Developer Challenge for BlackBerry developers. The Dev Challenge will consist of a series of competitions to find the best apps for BlackBerry. The competition is focused on Adobe Flash and Adobe AIR applications, Webworks, and the most addicting social app using the BBM Social Platform. The challenge will also recognize winners in their respective regions, giving developers the opportunity to stand out from one another with local content and language support. - Most creative implementation of Super App characteristics
- Top performers – Most innovative use of Payment Service and/or Advertising Service
- Academic – Most compelling app created by a student or faculty member
