BlackBerry at the 26th Annual Game Developers Conference

The 2012 Game Developers Conference is getting ready to gear up, and BlackBerry will be there.

The world’s largest professionals-only game industry event. From March 5-9, 2012, GDC serves as the headquarters for learning, networking and inspiration for the digital games industry.

Victoria Berry,  the Team Lead for Developer PR and Social Media at Research In Motion will be there at Booth 1909 and will be introducing their game and platform experts:  Volker Hirsch, Anders Jeppsson, Sean-Paul Taylor, Jonathan Feldstein, Ramgopal Rajagopalan, Dale Ducharme, Dimitry Tomilovskiy, Nick Landry; plus Developer Platform Evangelists Larry McDonough and Patrick Mollins.

There will be some great giveaways, and some sessions focused on sharing information, tips and tricks and guidance for developing games for the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet and BlackBerry® 10 platforms. In addition, experts speaking on Adobe® Flash® gaming and cross-platform building, as well as technical overviews on Native and Web development.

  • Social Gaming using BBM and Scoreloop – Thursday March 8 @ 10-11am
  • Writing Web Games for BlackBerry 10 and PlayBook – Thursday March 8 @ 2:30-3:30pm
  • Make Money on BlackBerry! – Thursday March 8 @ 4-5pm

GDC returns to San Francisco March 5-9, 2012 (Monday – Friday) for five days of lectures, panels, tutorials and roundtable discussions on a comprehensive selection of game development topics taught by leading industry experts.
