So the BBE Team was sitting around today thinking about what would be coming next in terms of potential BlackBerry announcements. As some interesting ideas were tossed about, I think the most interesting had to be the possibility of BlackBerry Gift Cards. Ok, while they won’t exactly look like this (rough design of what I thought it might look like) it’s exciting to see this possibility come out in pictures…so I had make something I could visualize. Although if RIM wants to take from my idea, I won’t mind.
The BBE Team is hypothesizing that this may come with the release of the new Blackberry App World (3.0), but it may come sooner than that. Personally, I think that we will see this during DevCon 2011 up in San Francisco, or a little bit after. I won’t be surprised if they’re even giving them out as swag during DevCon.
I’m marking this as rumor for now, until we get it confirmed (fingers crossed)…but I’m sure it’s coming!
