Just yesterday we let you know of a new app called Messenger (Facebook) that is being developed by Nemory Studios. Well Nemory (he’s also the developer of Snap2Chat) has been hard at work because there is an update to the new app already. This update brings the app to version 1.1.0.1 and we have the change log below for you to check out.

Here’s the new or improved features in Messenger (Facebook):

  • New – Beautiful icons and splash screens.
  • Fixed – Viewing profile from friends tab.
  • Added – Keyboard shortcuts – Jump to top & bottom, as well as search.
  • Added – Search messages (via friend name).
  • Added – Web group chats.
  • Added – Extra security – Application password.
  • Added – Switch off/on floating jump buttons.
  • Added – Switch off/on sound effects.
  • Added – FAQs screen.
  • Added – Welcome screen.
  • Added – Cancel button and search.
  • Added – BBM integration.
  • Added – Close prompt about headless.

It’s great to see Nemory working so hard on these missing apps that many folks want and need. With developers like him we can continue to close the app gap. If you already have Messenger (Facebook) installed on your device you can grab the FREE update in BlackBerry World now. For those of you still on the fence about the app what are you waiting on? It’s only a $1.99, which makes it well worth the money.
