In BlackBerry’s Fourth Quarter, Fiscal 2014 Earnings Conference Call, John Chen formally announced another production run of BBOS devices, including the Bold.
John Chen only mentioned the Bold but more specifically, he mentioned BBOS. However, these devices will not be produced by Foxconn, but instead, Wistron. This news does not come as a surprise since BBOS sales are still outselling BB10 sales by quite a lot. Whilst this news is very fresh off the press, when these phones will make a return and how they’ll make a return is anyone’s guess right now. We expect more news to follow during the day and months to follow on.
