LAS VEGAS—BlueAnt Wireless, manufacturer of many Bluetooth peripheral devices, today announced a number of number of new products for 2011, including a “true sound” stereo headset, a new value-priced speakerphone, and a partnership with Vlingo to deliver a free integrated voice application on BlueAnt products.
Free Integrated Voice Application through Partnership with Vlingo
BlueAnt has extended its partnership with Vlingo to offer users more advanced hands-free communication. They will be launching a fully integrated application that pairs Vlingo’s speech-enabled virtual assistant with BlueAnt’s current voice-control technology. This will allows users to speak into their BlueAnt Bluetooth headset or speakerphone to initiate a number of actions, from sending emails and text messages to conducting searches and making social networking updates.
In addition to being included on future BlueAnt products, the application will also be available on Android, iPhone and BlackBerry phones in the first quarter of 2011, and Symbian phones in the second quarter.
