BlackBerry will release a BlackBerry 10 tablet later this year, apart from the already known BlackBerry 10 OS that will come in a software update later this year for current PlayBook tablets as well.
Sarim Aziz, head of Developers Relations Asia confirmed that:
‘The BlackBerry 10 tablet is definitely coming later this year.’
The waiting game begins for both the OS update and new BlackBerry 10 tablet, that was once rumored, seems to be confirmed.
Update: Sources are stating a misquote. No new BlackBerry 10 tablet just yet but the BlackBerry 10 OS on existing PlayBooks is a go.
