The guys at MMMOOO have done it again, coming up with yet another innovative app. The MMMOOO Gif allows you to take clips and the app instantly converts them into animated .gif files.
The app takes about 4.9mb of application storage space on your phone. Yes, that’s quite a lot, considering most apps will only take an average of about 1-2mb of space. However, for what it effectively does, you may just find it all worth the bytes.
Interface is user friendly and simple. Setting up the capture options is easy, as it pops up each time you open the app, to check what you want it to do. Once you’re done with your choices, it brings up its own camera app, and you’re good to go, with just a single click on the camera button on the screen.
Processing speed depends on the option chosen for resolution. Of course, the larger resolution requires more time to generate the output file, which may take about a 30 seconds or so. The smaller resolution option takes about 10 seconds of processing time to complete the output animated .gif.
The animation of the output .gif file is just smooth, and instantly loops. Check out the sample .gif file below:
Overall, the app does a fine job at creating the .gif files. Possible downside for some people could be the storage space, and the target box that can be seen on the output file. However, considering what it does, and does well, those might prove to be non-issues at all.
The app can be downloaded for free on AppWorld. The free version leaves a watermark on the output animated .gif while the full, registered version doesn’t. Currently, MMMOOO has promo which allows users to get the registered version. Leave a positive review of the app, and have a shot at winning the registered version.
