PGA TOUR To Add BlackBerry 10 App

RIM has let us know that The PGA TOUR announced it will develop a new PGA TOUR app for BlackBerry 10. The growing commitment to BlackBerry 10 just continues to get better and better as we get the apps people are looking for. For those of you that are looking to install the PGA TOUR app RIM has said it will be available for free later this season.

PGA TOUR Will Introduce App for BlackBerry 10 in 2013

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. – The PGA TOUR announced today that it is developing a new PGA TOUR app for the BlackBerry® 10 platform. The PGA TOUR app will be available for free on the BlackBerry® World™ storefront for all BlackBerry 10 customers later this season.

“Mobile continues to be a very important channel to engage with our fans and enhance their experiences,” said Paul Johnson, PGA TOUR Senior Vice President of Strategic Development, Digital Media and Entertainment. “We are excited to bring a PGA TOUR app to the BlackBerry 10 platform later this year.”

PGA TOUR fans using a BlackBerry 10 smartphone will soon have access to live scoring, video, news, statistics, and more, through a native application, available globally. Complete details on available content and features will be announced at a later date.
