Chen also touched a little on the lawsuit regarding Typo stealing their QWERTY physical keyboard, their patents and even today’s hire Ron Louks. John Chen did hear about the ‘leaks’ regarding the Jakarta being all-touch while he said he was not going to confirm or deny that rumor, he gave a good indication that was valid as well touching up on the physical keyboards. He knows BlackBerry is known for their physical keyboards as he is a fan of them himself he did state we should continue to expect these physical keyboards ‘predominantly’ which is great news for everyone who enjoys them over an all-touch on screen keyboard.

Regarding the Foxconn deal, Foxconn as we already know will be in charge of the hardware but BlackBerry will monitor and manage that do a degree, Foxconn will not be touching the software portion of the BlackBerry 10 OS, that will solely come from BlackBerry.
