iPhone Simulator- Get Three Different Screens in One Theme by BlingBerry Designs

iPhone Simulator by BlingBerry Themes is an iPhone format ported to your BlackBerry. The home screen contains all the iPhone style icons that are most closely like the real style icons. BlingBerry set out to create the most accurate representation of iPhone and they have succeeded wonderfully.

This is the default home screen for iPhone Simulator

Looking at my screen shot, we see the characteristic bright blue background with the rounded off square icons of the iPhone. The bottom dock scrolls right to left with your track ball or track pad very smoothly. The focus icon is the little black arrow which makes it easy to see which icon you are choosing. There are 10 other icons on the screen and a notification bar at the top with the usual indicators. From the home screen, you can do just about everything you need to with this theme. It makes your BlackBerry very functional.

The menus are a dark blue with a lighter blue-gray highlight. The contrast of the dark blue and blue highlights and the white screen backgrounds make everything easy on the eyes.

When I first looked at the home screen, I thought maybe the iPhone style wasn’t for me. I was having a hard time getting my bearings. But after using it for just a few minutes, I realize that everything you need is front and center and you rarely need to go to the Apps screen for anything. If you scroll to the extreme left, you will see and arrow icon. Click it and the little dots on the home screen show you that you have gone to the left side and the Today Agenda. With the Today Agenda, you will see 2 Calendar entries and 3 unread Messages. At the bottom of the Today Agenda screen, you will see the 5 icon dock.

Today Agenda. Reach it by the left-most arrow on the dock.

Scroll all the way to the right-most arrow on the icon dock, and you will be left with your 5 icon dock and a wide open space to customize your wallpaper. Cleverness look familiar? Remember AppleBerry? When I had OS5, it was one of the themes I kept coming back to because of all the various arrangements of the home screen. iPhone Simulator is the work of the same talented people at BlingBerry! You would expect smooth movements, easy scrolling and flawless attention to iPhone details.

If you can’t focus on the total screen immersion into iPhone icons, use the view shown above. Here you see the tradition BlackBerry Zen dock of icons. Want to add all the iPhone icons to your screen, scroll to the arrow and click. Click again on the arrow on the dock and you are back at your Today Agenda. Three different home screens.

The last feature I want to mention is the Calendar. The icon is a self-updating icon, which, as you will see in the screen shot below, is very cool. Today is the 13th and well, my Calendar icon does tell me that without having to open the calendar or squint at a tiny date.

Here is a good look at the Calendar icon which changes automatically according to the date. User selected wallpaper is shown as well.

This theme has over 50 custom icons designed by Hastings of BlingBerry Themes. The care in his detail shows as you use this theme. Love BlackBerry but long for an iPhone look? The iPhone Simulator theme by BlingBerry Themes is a perfect choice for you!
