If you’re looking for a quality and free screen capture app, yesterday I was tipped off with CaptureNux New Edition. CaptureNux allows you to capture your screen with a timer which opens up in it’s own editor so you can preview it and even add some nice effects to your screen capture.
You can add your own custom text and choose from a variety of vibrant colors. Read below for full features.

Set one of the convenience key to run this app.(Recommended)
You can run this app from the main menu (not recommended)
To setup CaptureNux to run using one of your convenience key, follow these instructions:
1. Go to Main menu and select “Options”
2. Go to Screen and Keyboard
3. Scroll down to find “Convenience key options”
4. Select one of the key and set it to launch CaptureNux when pressed.
Now you can simply press your convenience key to take screenshots.
