Details of the upcoming BlackBerry Passport including a plethora of images and a video emerge!

Passport

A handful of images including one video of the unreleased BlackBerry Passport device has emerged upon Twitter in the past couple of hours. Twitter user @halobandit has the device and has provided images for us to drool over!

According to the source, this particular BlackBerry Passport model is a prototype and changes to the devices’ aesthetics could very well occur up until the device has been launched in September. Nonetheless, that doesn’t stop us from having a look at what the upcoming BlackBerry Passport is set out to look like.

We all know the screen resolution to the device is 1440×1440 with a PPI of 550, but more details by the source include a 32GB on-board internal memory, 3GB of RAM, weighing in at 6oz which comes in around 170 grams (not the lightest device!), is thought to be slightly thicker than the iPhone 5s, a non removable 3450mAh battery, 13MP camera including a 3MP front camera and is geared towards two handed use. On one of the images below, you will also see this device will be the first BlackBerry device to support the NANO sim card. If these specs remain unchanged on launch day, the BlackBerry Passport will definitely make heads turn for the better.

Have a look at the pictures below and keep an eye out for upcoming initial review soon too! We’ll be sure to post all the scoop right here on BlackBerry Empire.
