Well, Raypho has done it again folks. This new theme is sleek, functional, yet stylish as has come to be expected from his creations. D’Aegis has the modern look that is quickly becoming very popular in themes as of late and is one that you will want to have on your device for a long time. It has all the components you could ask for, including hidden dock, large clock, and of course an OCD slot for your weather of favorite app.
The first thing you will notice when you install this theme is the nice large android style digital clock on the top right of the home screen. The signal meter is custom, and clickable to manage connections. It has a very clean look and does not clutter your screen at all. What I love about Raypho’s themes is the options he provides: ability to show your dock or not, and also to hide the OCD slot if you want to show off more of your screen. Raypho has also included a hidden today for those that need it, z to show, esc to hide.
The above screen shows you what the theme looks like with all elements activated. This theme uses the signature Raypho hot keys to get to the various options. By clicking alt 1 you access the OCD Slot (which is also a hot spot for that particular app). Alt 2 hides it. Alt 3 brings up the dock and Alt 4 hides it. Notice the icons on the dock? Custom made, gorgeous icons with a silver, semi transparent focus that compliments the graphics and teal green color of the theme perfectly. The dock is scrolling and holds 8 of your favorite apps, so everything you need the most is right there on your home screen.
By now you know I’m all about showing my wallpapers, and this one does not disappoint. There is plenty of screen real estate that will showcase any background you choose. It also has a large area for notifications on the bottom of the screen which is great. A lot of themes allow for only 2 or 3 to show at one time, but with D’Aegis, you can have more. Even then, it does not interfere with your background wallpaper at all.
