Chive On (theCHIVE client) now available for BlackBerry 10 devices in BlackBerry World

Not to long ago we let you all know about an app called Chive On (theCHIVE client) that was available to download while it was in the beta stages. Well after some back and forth between the developer, BlackBerry, and the folks over at theCHIVE we are happy to report Chive On is now available for download through BlackBerry World for BlackBerry 10 devices.

If you’re not to familiar with what theCHIVE is about here is a quick description for you.

theCHIVE is home to the best funny, viral and interesting photos from around the world. With over 10,000 unique photo galleries and over 500,000 photos, theCHIVE.com is The World’s Largest Photo Entertainment Website. Started in November 2008 by brothers John and Leo Resig, theCHIVE started with 2 visits per day and has grown to entertain an average of 750,000 visitors per day and churns out over 15 million visits per month 85 million monthly pageviews.

App Permissions: This application asks for BBM, shared files, device info, and location permissions. It connects to BBM to allow you to invite others to download, and shared files permissions are required to save images to your device. Device info and location permissions are needed for the ad services.

Don’t forget you can remove the ads for only $0.99 with an in-app purchase, which would be a great way to thank the developer for bringing Chive On to the BlackBerry 10 platform.
