Blitz by Raypho is timed just right to strike your Blackberry

I’m back to tell you about yet another new release from one of my favorite developers, Raypho.  This theme is called Blitz, and it certainly feels like your Blackberry has been attacked..but in a good way, mind you!  With the inclusion of 2 ocd slots, hidden dock, and here’s where you will be shell shocked…7 color options on the clock,  there are so many ways you can use this theme.   Get ready to be Blitzed!

Default Home screen

This is such a cool theme.  The background is a dark grid that is just right for the attack you are about to give your blackberry.  Right from the beginning you will see the large analog style clock in the top left, but which also has a digital time display inside.  Very military like in keeping with the name of the theme.  The notification bar is on top and your date and other signal meters are on the bottom.  Alright, so now let’s get to the fun part!

Default homescreen with all elements showing

This is what you will see when you first load up the theme.  Looks kind of busy hunh?  But don’t worry…you control the mission, so you can have your device set-up anyway you want.  At the top there are 2 ocd slots!  Woohoo!  Now for me that likes to have at least one, 2 is just a treat.  You can place your favorite 2 apps in either slot, arranged in the best way to go with  your wallpaper.  Pretty slick, eh?  Maybe you don’t want either – no problem you can hide either one, or both.   Alt + hides the right slot and Alt – shows it.  For the left slot, use Alt ) to hide and Alt ( to show.  They are positions 1 and 2 on your application screen.  Then you have your color option panel for you clock.  Raypho has chosen 7 gorgeous colors that you can pick from!  Change it up to match you wallpaper…it’s not complicated – Alt 3 brings up the color options, choose your color, and Alt 4 hides it.   Awesome.   And last but not least a 7 icon hidden dock with OS6.1 icons (Alt 1 and Alt 2).  The ocd slots are clickable to that particular app, and your signal meter goes to manage connection and profile icon to well, profiles! Whew!  All that in one theme!

Application screen

The grid background follows to the the application screen and the icons look sharp against the background.  Menus are a dark gray color with blue highlight bar.   The color scheme goes perfectly with the look and feel of the theme.

Home screen with user selected wallpaper - Purple

With this screen shot, I’ve chosen purple (which is my fave color btw), for the clock background to go with this stunning wall paper and placed my weather in the first ocd slot at the top.  Tell me that doesn’t look sharp!

Here it is in red!!  I’ve hidden both the ocd slots and used the Berryweather home screen option to show the weather.

Showing off the blue clock, dock, and using the 2nd ocd slot and hiding the first.  This is great..I placed my weather on the 2nd slot otherwise it would have covered up the CN Tower, and I didn’t want that!  Blitz allows me to still showcase everything how I want it!

I’m sure you get the idea by now…you can match up your wallpaper to the clock quick and simple and have a different look each time.  Show or not show the dock or ocd slots…your mission, your choice on the attack!   Blitz is a creative theme from one of the best themers out there in my opinion.  There is a lot of choice involved and let’s the user take the reigns on how to set up their screen.   Despite all this, Blitz still runs smooth with no lag and I’ve been using it since it’s release.  You know what?  Don’t wait…go on the offensive and get Blitz, cuz with this one, you’ll be the winner.  Get it today, on sale for $2.49 at the BBE store.  Blitz is available for most devices in both OS 5 and OS 6.
