The BlackBerry Passport has officially launched in Hong Kong

BlackBerry Passport

Hong Kong is the latest country to receive BlackBerry’s newest and latest high-end flagship device.

In an event today earlier in Hong Kong, BlackBerry launched the BlackBerry Passport. Users based in Hong Kong can purchase the device from retailers such as 1O1O and CSL for the price of $6288 (HKD).

In case you didn’t know, the BlackBerry Passport features a 4.5 ” square touch display, 13 MP OIS camera, 32 GB Internal storage with 128GB SD card compatibility, 3450 mAh battery (Up to 30 hours battery life), 1440 x 1440 resolution, 453 PPI, 1080p HD video recording at 60 fps and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It’s also one of two devices to be running OS 10.3 officially which works with BlackBerry Blend.

It’s good to see the device being launched in places slowly which I believe  is John Chen’s strategy in carefully avoiding any inventory right down.
