Developers participating in the summit can expect a number of activities laid out by RIM Developer Relations.  Here’s an excerpt from RIM’s announcement on Inside BlackBerry Developer’s Blog, describing what participating developers can expect:

We have planned keynotes, panel sessions and hands-on labs to introduce students and interested developers to the rich universe of the BlackBerry development ecosystem. This conference will have everything from Java® development for BlackBerry® 7 OS to cross-platform development with HTML5. You can also learn how to integrate BlackBerry® Messenger (BBM™) into your app and considerably increase your downloads. There is also an introduction to BlackBerry native development, the BlackBerry® PlayBook™ tablet and the future BlackBerry® 10 platform.

The 2nd Middle East Summit on Mobile Computing will be held on April 11-12, 2012 at the Zayed University in Dubai, UAE.  This summit aims to “provide a forum for people interested in learning about the mobile ecosystem and mobile application development” as well as opportunities to meet leaders from the industry and the academe.
