BlackBerry Jam Direct Android Virtual Conference tomorrow

A week ago, we posted about the new approach BlackBerry is taking to help draw in developers and educate those interested in developing for the platform. This is of course, in the wake of new that BlackBerry Jam Europe was being cancelled. I personally haven’t tried it, but it sounds like an effective way for distributing information, without limiting the participation. This time around, BlackBerry devs are encouraging those wanting to develop for the platform who may already develop for the Android platform to check out this BlackBerry Jam Direct event which will focus on developing from Android to BlackBerry 10. Coming off the success of a similarly styled event in August, this event is directed more toward Android developers and the transition BlackBerry is making to the new Android 4.2.2 Jelly bean runtime coming in the new BlackBerry 10.2.1 operating system.

For those of you that have yet to sign up, it’s not too late! Simply head over to the Developer Events Registration Page and sign up for tomorrow’s event (December 4th for those of you stuck in a time loop).

The event starts at 11:00 AM PST and ends at 1:30PM PST. There is still time to register up until the start of the event, so make sure you do so.

For more information on the event, see below or hop on to the event page:
